About
Ali Foster grew up in Hackensack, New Jersey, where a job at a local movie theater sparked a lifelong obsession with cinema. That early love never left — it deepened into a craft, and eventually a calling.
He has since worked across nearly every role a set demands: director, producer, director of photography, costumer, and health and safety supervisor on productions for PBS, NBC/Universal, Black Label Media, Sony, and more. His short film work — much of it written and directed — reflects a cinematic sensibility shaped by years of watching, studying, and making.
Ali holds a Bachelor's in Political Science with a minor in Film from Georgia Southern University, a Certificate in Audio Engineering from the Institute of Audio Research in New York, and is completing his MFA in Film & Television at SCAD — focused on directing.
A true cinephile. Passing the love of cinema to the next generation.
